The Utopia Landscape Design website was designed and developed by v2Media, a Brisbane Web design and development company. At the time of design, mid 2011, the design functionality was cutting edge. Not only is the layout fully 'liquid', the text and images also scale in proportion to the width of the browser window. Considering Myriad Pro is embedded using Cufon, font-size scaling relative to browser width is more demanding.
Not so cutting edge you say? The icing on the cake is that the whole shebang resizes after the browser window is resized too. Consider how complicated this would be when a jQuery thumbnail gallery is in use. And to top it off, the site was also made to be 100% compatible with iPhone and iPad.
At the time that this site was published, v2Media could not find another website that had taken fully liquid layouts to this extreme!
Website Technologies
The Utopia website is powered by a proprietary CMS developed by v2Media. The v2Media Content Management System was customised to suit Utopia's unique UI and required information delivery. Search Engine Optimisation for the Utopia website is also by v2Media.
